HISTORY AND ANECDOTES IN Chimbacalle TRAIN MUSEUM
The Chimbacalle Train Museum is one of the complementary services that Tren Ecuador offered to national and foreign tourists visiting the station Eloy Alfaro, Quito. It is ideal for those who like space history, geography and stories related to the process of construction and operation of the Ecuadorian railway.
In it you can find a collection of objects that were used in the operation of the train, dating from the 50s. For example, a diorama explaining the construction of the railway. Also, you can see a demo showing the route of the railway, Quito - Durán and Quito - San Lorenzo.
"YOUTH CHOIR" CONCERT ON ELOY ALFARO STATION
The Eloy Alfaro station was the setting for the presentation of melodious voices. The Youth Choir conducted by maestro César Espinosa delighted young and old, the last Thursday of February.
The concert is part of the cultural activities that month to month Ecuador Railways developed jointly with Sucre National Theatre Foundation and Mama Cuchara Cultural Center.
